  • I love your 100 things!

  • Hi,
I keep reading your comments on Mama Manifesto, and I thought I’d check out your blog. What’s gerontology? You seem to have a very full and interesting life. Thanks for sharing. I pray that your insurance woes turn out alright. It’s ok to pray about money, but if you don’t like to do it, I’ll offer up one right now for you. Hope you don’t mind if I drop by now and then. I also like coffee, and reading blogs.
    Take care.

  • from one blog to another blog and then to another blog (maybe there were more… I lost count), I ended up here and just read through your list. I am not sure why but it made me get a bit teary-eyed (and it is only 4:45 in the pm and no wine-sipping is playing a part…) but it is wonderful how true you are in your words about yourself. Thank you for a wonderful post, I am sure it encourages others to be open and honest about themselves. You find the best fellowship that way! btw, I also like running crazy long distances, home-schooling, caring for the orphan, coffee, reading, and following Jesus. Happy blogging : )

  • ummm pretty much just ditto to the poster above me on this page! found your blog from another blog via another post on someone else’s blog. your 100 things ring so true. so honest and open. i am a fellow swearing (but trying to cut back because jesus doesn’t like it) bad at real life friendships because of too many children underfoot blog and real world loving bad housekeeper. praying for your family – you seem like an amazingly wonderful person. right on with #100. something to remind ourselves of EVERY day.

  • LOL. I just read your 100 things. I swear you’re my long lost twin. Except that I actually really do have a twin… I’m thinking you and he were switched at birth and you’re my REAL twin. Just don’t tell my brother, okay? ;-)

  • Thanks for #98

I’m legally married in California. It really does feel different to be married than just “domestically partnered”.

It’s awesome to find Christians who have values that are in line with what Jesus taught.

And good luck in your marathon…I ran my first 1/2 marathon in November.

I can’t imagine the pain of not being able to marry the person that you love. Or being told that it’s wrong to love that person. Or, once married, being told that your marriage is no longer legal. The cruel things that people do to other people.. and then want to blame on God.. well. I’m sure God has thoughts on all of that. xoxo

  • These 100 things were great ~ just found your blog and am enjoying your humor.
